How to quit sugar. Keep up the good work!
I have had a horrible sweet tooth for as long as I can remember. Candy was my weakness as a child, and as I got older ice cream became my Achilles heel. During my freshman year of college, the good stuff was available at every dining hall meal, and I had access to unlimited cold sweetness as a manager at McDonald’s when I was working.
Older adults warned that it would some day catch up to me, and I began battling weight gain in my early to mid twenties. If I was bored, I snacked; a habit I had developed as a child. If I was upset, I snacked; I’m not sure when that one snuck up on me. Years of bad habits have taken their toll on me and I’m now at my heaviest weight ever and terribly out of shape.
